One story at a time…

One story at a time…

”I almost wish I hadn't gone down that rabbit-hole — and yet — and yet — it's rather curious, you know, this sort of life! I do wonder what can have happened to me!”

I often fall into virtual rabbit-holes — Wikipedia-holes, to be specific — and I’m not the only one, am I? It starts out all innocently — you look up John Mayer’s discography or try to find out which joint in the human body is the largest — and the next thing you know … you’re staring at a list of English words containing the letter Q not followed by the letter U.

If it weren’t for Google+, I would’ve never met certain incredible individuals. If it weren’t for Google+, I would’ve never had certain magical experiences. If it weren’t for Google+, I would’ve never learned certain mind-blowing things.

When the Google who originally cajoled me into giving Google+ a proper chance first heard that I was utterly amazed by his product, he smiled knowingly and said something about convincing "one user at a time." But it’s really the stories — the scary, the amazing, the deeply personal adventures — that drew me in and kept me here. And I think that many others will soon discover the magic, too. One story at a time.
